RULES.

ONE. don't be an asshole. yes, that is my number one rule. we are all here to have fun. role playing should be fun, not a dramatic mess. people who take things way too personally are my number one pet peeve. so, don't be an asshole and don't take things too personally.
TWO. it's about quality not quantity, but we ask that you have decent sized posts. we don't have a word count requirement here at consider the sea, but please, don't reply to a six hundred word post with three sentences. it is just not fair to your fellow role players. it gives them nothing to work off of.
THREE. make realistic characters with realistic histories. not everybody was raped by their father as a child, but not everyone had a perfect childhood either. don't be over-dramatic, but don't be boring. no one likes plain janes, and everyone hates mary sues.
FOUR. according to proboards rules, we have to ask that everyone on the site is at least thirteen years old.
FIVE. while this site is PG13, according to proboards terms of service, we have to be a lot more behaved these days. so for the naughty subjects - sex, drugs, violence, hard partying, and such - we ask that you post vaguely while on the site or take them over to the in character chat box. don't forget to thread, though.
SIX. follow normal role playing rules: third person, no god-modding, past tense, use spell check and proper grammar, etc, etc. nobody likes a bad post.
SEVEN. please use good graphics that won't stretch the board. caution is an amazing thing, use it.
EIGHT. we don't have anything banned and we don't intend to ban anything unless somethings end up misused. we accept all play by's as long as their graphics are of good quality. as for twins and triplets, we accept very few of those, due to the fact that the realistic statistics of multiple births are low. if you're really interested in making a twin or triplet, please study up on multiple births, and discuss it with the staff first.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE RULES AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
